NVIDIA recently announced its GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 video cards, and AIB partner ZOTAC is now teasing their custom board in a recent leak which shows a supposed ZOTAC GEFORCE GTX 1080 PGF, with the PGF standing for Prime Gamer Force and will be ZOTAC’s most powerful series.
The first leaks of ZOTAC’s GeForce GTX 1080 PGF shows a huge illuminated backplate which is claimed to be controlled through a new app. The card looks like it comes with a custom PCB with it being much wider than the reference design, and an OC+ module can be seen at the end of the card just like the previous Extreme video card series.
ZOTAC is seemingly also refreshing its FireStorm overclocking utility, where you can control both cards in SLI, apply “Z-Elves” presets, and change the animations of the GTX 1080 LEDs. But look at that 8GB of GDDR5X that is hitting 5650MHz(11.3GHz) with bandwidths hitting over 361Gb/sec over its 256-bit memory bus.
The NVIDIA GTX 1080 will be available on May 27th with custom models expected to be showcased at Computex 2016. The GTX 1070 is scheduled for release on June 10, 2016.
