Conclusion
Throughout our review, we noticed how GAMDIAS’ approach a design to a gaming mouse and how it should behave is simultaneously standard and unique. The design is certainly different and they’ve settled for the middle of the road with four mouse buttons instead of having a number of them all over the mouse or spamming a dozen of buttons at the thumb side. Zeus is an ergonomic design but it’s very uncomplicated at the same time – there’s not much to fiddle with or break.
Despite being listed by a few retailers and even having a number of famous registered stores as their dealer worldwide retailers, you will still be bugged about how GAMDIAS peripherals perform in real world scenario. Being new in a market full of veterans, GAMDIAS sure have taken this situation to their advantage.
All in all, it’s a great product from a new company for the high-end market even though that it takes a while to get used to the shape and functionality of the four side buttons. Once you’re used to the shape and adjusted the three side panels to fit your hand grip preference, along with the rubberized coating, assured grip is easy to obtain, and the ZEUS is quite comfortable with prolonged use as well.
The rest of the button placement is all fine and that brings us to one of the best things about the ZEUS, the ergonomic design of programmable buttons to accommodate all kinds of games. Also, the software is one of the best software that offers stabilizability of what this mouse has to offer.
The mouse does track and feel really good, and there were no issues in gaming or with our desktop usage. The software offers some of the better controls to be had via software, and, with 512MB of onboard memory, you can store quite a LOT in the mouse.
BossMac’s Notes: GAMDIAS certainly pulls off a balance between style and performance with the GAMDIAS ZEUS, striking it just right down the middle of what a flashy mouse can be whilst retaining that purebred handling and precision that premium gaming mice should all possess. The GAMDIAS ZEUS puts a sinister twist to what other brands claim as aggressive, bearing the most evil styling we’ve seen to date. That design does take perfecting as the mouse is still comfortable with all the edges on the palm managing not to dig onto the skin. Noting some improvements though, again as mentioned in previous GAMDIAS reviews the company should really improve their software GUI as it looks like a kids’ toy. The graphics just weighs down the perfectly functional software.
