UNBOXING
Like all other G-Series products, the G430 uses the same theme of a black box and a sky blue color design. A portion of the box is wide open and displays half of the G430 itself with the mic. The front of the box highlights an image of the G430, an image that features the internal components of the G430 just like all other G-series aswell. The front of the box also highlights the Dolby certification logo and that G430 is a surround sound gaming headset.
The back of the box also displays an image of the G430 that also highlights the main feature of the headset like the 7.1 surround sound, noise-cancelling mic, light-weight design for comfort, and washable earcups.
The left side of the box highlights some more features of the G430 like the detachable adapter for USB digital audio and a switch that controls the volume and mute controls.
The underneath part of the box displays the specification, package content, system requirements, and Logitech’s contact information incase you need their customer service support. G430 is backed with a 3-year limited manufacturer warranty. This portion of the box also states that you need the Logitech gaming software installed on your computer to enable the surround sound feature.
The G430 comes with a warrant/compliance/safety guide, setup guide, contact information pamphlet, and one detachable USB digital audio adapter.
The G430 itself is held by a hard protective plastic cover inside the box. The plastic cover fully protects the headset inside and out. The G430 doesn’t have any fancy stylish special packaging. I’m pretty much satisfied from the way it is packed. There’s nothing to worry about if you think that the plastic cover might open easily. There’s a lock mechanism that assures the G430 will be held tightly inside the box.
