PACKAGING
The front of the box has a clear plastic window which displays the full look of theรย Kuven. The front of the box also includes a stylized branding of the headset and indicates that it is capable of 7.1 virtual audio output.รย Tesoro have also chosen to choose a wedge shape for the packaging resembling a helmet like design, I’m pretty sure that it has something to do with its name “Kuven”. The front of the box displays a stylized “Kuven” with a helmet on the side. “The Helm of Hades”รย phrase can be seen at the bottom part of the box. The upper right corner highlights some specifications of the Kuven like 50mm driver, noise cancelling, and noise reduction which are common features of a gaming headset.
The specification of the Kuven is displayed at the back of the box in a number of different languages and an image of two different versions of Kuven (Black and White) is displayed. TESORO also guarantees that they will give you the best gaming experience as stated behind the box.

The right side of the box highlights the headset specs of the Kuven like the 50mm driver, impedance, frequency response, sensitivity, and microphone specs. You can also see two images of the headset in white and black version. A stylized name with a “7.1 virtual gaming headset” under it. The left side displays that Kuven comes with a 7.1 sound card, 2m extension card, and a Y type 2 to 1 converter cable (Great for smartphones).
The Kuven can be used on Windows 8 operating system as stated underneath the box. Unfortunately, looks like Linux and OS x aren’t supported. Nothing much to see underneath the box. Just some compliance, bardcode, logo, and neocode. Now let’s open the box and check out other items that are included.
Upon opening the box and taking the headset out, I saw one envelope like disc holder inside and some cables. Taking a closer look, Tesoro included a 2m extension braided cable and a Y 2 to 1 converter cable. Now this is what I’m talking about. Personally, I hate long cables like most manufacturers do to their gaming headsets. I mean, why do they have so long cables. Not all computers are far away from the user. I also hated using straps or cable tie to make the cable short. I like how Tesoro designed Kuven. I mean, if you don’t need that long cable then you’re good with the 1.2m long braided cable along the headset but if you need a longer cable. Then you can use the 2m braided extension cable. To add more, Tesoro did not compromise the extension cable quality. It might be an extension but it’s still braided and it’s a high quality braided cable. Another thing worth mentioning is the Y 2 to 1 converter cable. This is perfect for smartphones/tablets. With the converter cable, you can use the headset on smartphone to act as a mic and headset when video calling your friends or love ones which is great! This is one great bundle and feature of Kuven. Good job Tesoro!

2m Braided Extension Cable
[divider] [/one_half_last]This is how the 2m extension cable and the Y 2 to 1 converter cable looks like. The Y 2 to 1 converter cable isn’t braided probably because of the length but I prefer that TESORO braids them as well. The extension cable have marks for each port so you won’t get confuse to which goes where.
