The Star Wars Line of SH Figuarts is going a little prequel crazy these days with Jango Fett and Mace Windu getting the figure treatment. Now add Obi-Wan in his Episode II self on that list.
The Episode I Obi-Wan released late last year was one of the best figures in the line. And while AOC Obi-Wan was displayed at least once before, this is the first time he was given a release date of November 2016.
While the body looks similar to the first figure, it’s actually a bit “bulkier”. In any case, Obi-Wan’s costume didn’t change that much in the prequels anyway. I think my favorite change would be the head, with what Ewan McGregor (who plays Obi-Wan in the prequels) calls “Jedi Mullet”.
Once I pay off the ANH Luke I pre-ordered, this guy is next on my list.
